my name is Felix, online I go by the name Alpha Ferdra and I am a professional Game Designer.
Who am I
My first attempts at Game Design in elementary school, where I designed Pokémon and Pokémon Cards. Whenever I was interested enough in a topic I designed something for it. Clash of Clash troops and buildings, A new Paper Mario Game, a Teamfight Tactics Set, Yu-Gi-Oh Cards and most recently Magic the Gathering Cards to name a few.
I studied Game Design at the Mediadesign Hochschule in Düsseldorf for 3 and a half years, where I specialized in Game Design. The most fun I have with Level- and System-Design.
When i'm not working there is a one in three chance that i am outside, either wandering, biking or jogging. The rest of my free time I usually spent on personal creative projects. A few of those you can find below.
Custom Yu-Gi-Oh Deck
The Clones as a whole are my favorite Character in all of fiction. Naturally, while I was activly playing Y-Gi-Oh, I started designing a custom Deck based around the Clones. Finishing the Deck took about one and a half year year of designing, balancing and testing.
During my fourth semester I filmed, edited and published a long form video about my custom deck. The Video took four month to complete.
Custom Magic the Gathering Cards
During my fifth Semster I shifted over to Magic the Gathering as my TCG of choice. After about a year of getting to know to game, I started designing my own custom Cards. Until now, I only shared single cards, because I am still working on multiple custom decks.
When one of my custom decks is finished I plan on creating a long form video about that.
